Simple Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Beef, rice and tomato sauce is stuffed into a fresh green pepper and covered with cheese. All ages will enjoy this garden entree.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound rice
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 4 bell peppers

Brown ground beef; drain. Add tomato sauce.

Cook the rice in a separate pot then mix with meat mixture.

Cut the peppers in halves, quarters or however you like.

In large casserole dish, fill the peppers with the meat and rice mixture. Cover with cheese.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
