Vegetable Rice Medley Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Long Grain Rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons beef or chicken soup base
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups frozen corn, peas or mixed vegetables
Directions
In a saucepan combine rice, water, soup base and salt. Bring to a boil. Add vegetables; return to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice and veggies are tender.
