Broccoli Everyone Will Love Recipe

Lemon and garlic infuse this broccoli to load it with flavor. It's so easy to throw together and as the title suggests, everyone will love it. Be sure to make enough!

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 head fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 1/3 cup water
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan with a lid over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook until it starts to turn golden brown.

Add zest of the lemon and stir.

Add broccoli and water; cover. Cook until broccoli is heated through and has reached the desired tenderness.

NOTE: You can use a package of frozen broccoli florets, but water is not necessary.

Squeeze on lemon juice and stir well to coat. Season with salt and pepper.

"A little too much lemon for me. I think it would be better if you skipped the zest and just used 1-2 teaspoons of juice. I used frozen broccoli instead of fresh florets, too."
