Vegetable Beef Soup 19 Recipe

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 package Beef Noodle Hamburger Helper Mix
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (16 ounce can)
  • 1 package frozen mixed vegetables (10 oz. pkg)
Cook and stir ground beef and onion in soup pot until brown; drain. Stir in sauce packet from Hamburger Helper, water, bay leaf, salt, pepper and tomatoes with liquid. Break up tomatoes with a fork. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Stir in noodles and frozen vegetables. Cook 10-15 minutes longer.
