Vegetable Beef Soup 9 Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup whole kernel corn
  • 1 cup lima beans
Brown beef; drain and set aside.

Melt butter in large Dutch oven and stir in flour until bubbly.

Add water, beef bouillon, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Stir until boiling.

Stir in beef, onion, celery, carrots, corn and beans. Stir frequently and cook about 1 hour.
