Sausage Soup Italian or any kind of sausage Recipe

  • 3/4 pound Italian sausage-cooked
  • 2 onions (medium)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 can Italian tomatoes (16 ounce can)
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cups dry red wine(optional but recommended
  • 2 teaspoons basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper or to taste
  • 4 stocks celery
  • 1 green pepper
  • 3 white potatoes
  • 1 cup uncooked pasta-your choice
  • parmesan
Wash veggies, drain, cut up. Cook sausage until browned. Brown onions and potatoes. Combine broth, wine, garlic, potatoes, salt and pepper also onions, celery, pepper. Cook on med. heat about 25 min til veggies are tender. Add pasta and sausage leave covered for another 15-20 min's on lower heat.
