The Easiest Chili Colorado Recipe

Ingredients
  • Serves 6-8
  • 2 pounds stewing meat
  • Seasoning to taste
  • Oil for cooking
  • 2 containers Sals Salsa or 2 jars prepared salsa (Tostitos, medium)
Directions
Brown stewing meat with seasoning in oil. Transfer cooked meat to a crock pot or 4 quart pot. Let the meat slowly cook for 4-6 hours. It will be very tender. About 15 minutes before the meat is ready: If you are using Sal's Salsa, put a small amount of oil in the pan and add the containers stirring and heating through; at least 10 minutes. If you are using a jar salsa, heat before adding to the meat mixture. Pull the meat apart and add salsa mixture to the meat. Cook 1/2 hour longer. This can be used in burritos, on eggs or a delightful addition to Spanish rice or beans.
