Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili Recipe

  • 1 can Black beans, drained
  • 1 can baked beans, do not drain
  • 2 cans tomatoes, do not drain
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 sweet onion, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 each oregano, parsley, basil, chili powder (1 tablespoon each)
Combine all ingredients and simmer in a slow cooker/crock pot on low for 8 hours. This is a vegetarian dish but is also great with ground beef, sirloin steak or cubed chicken.
