Hashbrown Breakfast Skillet Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 package frozen hash browns (16 oz pkg)
  • 1/2 pound meat (ground beef, ham, steak, sausage, turkey, chicken, etc.)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 8 ounces salsa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
Directions
Cook hash browns in electric skillet according to package directions.

While hash browns are cooking, in another skillet, saute onion and add meat, to either cook it or heat it through if it's already cooked.

Fry 4 eggs in a splash of olive oil in another skillet on stove on very low heat until just set. Start them out way low & leave them that way!

When the hash browns are done, layer ingredients on top of them as follows; meat & onions (use slotted spoon to drain if needed); salsa; eggs (gently layer); cheese. Put temperature on electric skillet at 300 degrees F and cook until cheese is melted and eggs are the way you like them, approximately 5-7 minutes.
