Date Sugar
4 of 20
not yet rated
An unprocessed sugar made from dehydrated dates that are ground into small bits to be used as a sweetener. Since the bits do not blend into or dissolve easily when added to other ingredients, dry or liquid, the use of date sugar is limited. When using date sugar for a recipe, a cup of date sugar equals a cup of granulated sugar.
