not yet rated
A form of granulated sugar that has been ground to extra-fine granules. Superfine sugar dissolves quickly in cold liquids and works well for baking, sweetening beverages, and especially in making meringues. This sugar is commonly made from granulated sugar by grinding it into a finer texture in a food grinder or blender. Other names for this sugar are bar sugar, castor sugar, or ultrafine sugar.
