When grilling sweet corn with the husks left on be sure to soak the husks are soaked in water for 1 to 3 hours before cooking them on the grill.
Place a drip pan under the rotisserie spit directly under the food. This will catch the dripping grease and fat, preventing flare-ups as the food cooks.
When frying or grilling fresh bratwurst, they should be poached first. Otherwise the bratwurst may become burnt on the outside before they are cooked all the way through.
Place two or three ears in a resealable plastic bag, and add 1 tbsp. of water for each ear. Leave a slight opening in the bag and cook on high in the microwave for 2 minutes.

To get nice crispy browned fried chicken, coat the chicken with flour and then make sure when frying that the chicken is not overcrowed in the pan. Overcrowding causes uneven cooking and browning.
