Canned Apple Pie Filling 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 8 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 8 quarts Pared Sliced Apples
Directions
Combine all ingredients except apples. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring often. Add apples, continue cooking. Boil 5 minutes. Pack in hot sterilized jars. Seal. Process 30 minutes in hot water bath.
