Chicken Fajitas Recipe

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 each green or red peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 each onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 package flour tortillas
  • 1 package shredded Monterrey or Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup lettuce

Combine oil, juice, and seasonings. Pour over chicken and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

Combine chicken, green peppers, and onions. Wrap in tin foil and cook on grill until chicken is done and peppers and onions are tender.

Garnish with cheese, sour cream and lettuce and serve on flour tortillas.
