Asian Beef Casserole Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 cup water
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain and put into casserole dish. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Place covered casserole dish into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 4-6 servings.

* Note - may also use instant rice and cook for 30 minutes.

"My family really enjoyed this - I doubled the recipe, added 3 stalks of celery, diced and one orange pepper, diced and then sauteed with the onions. I also used chicken broth instead of the water with instant brown rice."

"This was very good. I threw in some celery, used chicken stock instead of water and served it on top of crunchy chinese noodles. Check on it after 1 hour of baking - mine seemed a little too done after 1 1/2 hours."
