Butterscotch Brittle Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups Dark Karo Syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup Black Walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
In a heavy sauce pan combined all ingredients. Cook until it reaches a hard boil stage (about 310° on a candy thermometer).

Butter a cookies sheet filled with assorted nuts. Pour hot mixture over nuts and cool.

No Peanuts!
