Lasagna 46 Recipe

  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 jar Aldi spaghetti sauce, traditional (30 ounce jar)
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 8 ounces cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 packages shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
Place lasagna noodles in water with 1 T. oil to boil on stove. In large skillet, brown hamburger. While browning; add seasoning, garlic, minced onion, salt and pepper. When done, drain hamburger and add spaghetti sauce. Simmer. In a mixing bowl, mix cottage cheese, parsley, 2 eggs and half of the 3/4 C. of Parmesan cheese. When noodles are done, drain and run cold water over them until they are cooled enough to handle. In a 9 x 13 pan, alternate, noodles, cottage cheese mixture, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese to form 2 layers of each. On last layer of mozzarella cheese, sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
