Taco Roll Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 - 8 ounce block cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 1 - 8 ounce block mozzarella cheese, finely shredded
  • 2 packages crescent rolls
Directions
Mix together ground beef, taco seasoning mix, water and cheeses. Separate crescent rolls into triangles placing them around the edges of a 15x12 baking stone, points facing outward. Roll each triangle toward the center of baking stone with Bakers Roller or small rolling pin. Using a large scoop or an ice cream dipper, dip ground beef mixture and place a scoop onto each wide section of crescent rolls. Repeat until each section has a scoop of the mixture. Bring the points of the crescent rolls over the ground beef toward the middle of the stone, overlapping if necessary. Bake 350 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. More ground beef, cheeses and crescent rolls can be added to feed a larger crowd.
