Chimole (Fresh Salsa) From Nicaragua Recipe

  • 3 pounds tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped cilantro
  • 2 Lemons
  • Salt
Chop tomatoes, onion, green pepper and cilantro; mix together. Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and salt to your liking. Remember, the above ingredients are estimates; Nicaraguan cooks do not normally use recipes. Be creative by adding or taking out ingredients to give it the perfect touch. Serve with tortilla chips or use as a side dish.
