Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely grated carrots (3-4)
1 1/2 cups peeled chopped pears (2 -3)
1 can crushed pineapple, undrained (14 ounce can)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
6 1/2 cups sugar
3 ounces liquid pectin
Directions
Mix everything but sugar & pectin in pan. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce down to a simmer for 20 minutes, stirring to prevent burning. Add pectin & return to a boil. Add sugar, bring to a rolling boil for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat, put into hot sterile jars & seal. Yields 8 - 1/2 pts
