Nun's Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs, beaten (large)
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Directions
Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs 1/3 at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Mix into egg mixture alternately with milk and vanilla. Mix well after each addition. Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
