Three Seed Breadsticks Recipe

This recipe takes breadsticks to the next level of flavor. Three seeds -- Anise, Poppy and Sesame -- add flavor, texture and visual appeal.

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Anise Seed
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Poppy Seed
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Sesame Seed
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Salt
  • 1 package (11 ounces) refrigerated breadsticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix seeds and garlic salt in small bowl.

 

2. Prepare breadsticks as directed on package. Pull each about 6 inches in length. Brush breadsticks with oil. Sprinkle evenly with seed mixture. Place on lightly greased baking sheet.

 

3. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack.

Three Seed Focaccia: Use 1/2 teaspoon each McCormick® Anise Seed, Poppy Seed and Sesame Seed, and 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt. Unroll dough; divide into 2 equal sections along center perforation. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Press perforations on each section to seal. Brush dough with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sprinkle seed mixture evenly over entire surface of dough. Bake in preheated 375°F oven 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into rectangles to serve.
