OAT MEAL CAKE Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup quick oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Pour boiling water over oatmeal, Let stand 20 minutes. Cream butter and sugars; add to the oats. Add rest of the ingredients to the mixture. Blend well. Pour into a 9 x 13" pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 (325 for glass.)
