Buttercream Frosting 7 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 8 cups confectioners sugar
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • food coloring, optional
Directions
In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, milk and vanilla. Frosting will be thick. Add food coloring if desired.

VARIATION: For chocolate frosting, substitute 1/2 cup baking cocoa for 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. For peanut butter frosting, substitute peanut butter for butter.
