Peanut Butter Banana French Toast Recipe

Kids will love you if you surprise them with this breakfast sandwich. They will even help you out. Peanut butter and banana is a great combination, paired with warmth from the griddle. Serve with butter and syrup is you want.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • cooking spray

  • In a bowl, beat the egg, milk and vanilla together.
  • Spread peanut butter on top of each slice of bread. Place banana slices on top of one of the slices of bread. Place the other slice of bread on top of the first, peanut butter side in.
  • Spray a large skillet over medium heat with cooking spray. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture and place in the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
