Whole Wheat Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
Combine sugar, butter, eggs, and chocolate; mix until well blended and fluffy.

Combine whole wheat flour, salt, and add alternately with milk.

Stir in nuts and flavoring blending well; pour into a 9 x 13 x 2 inch greased pan.

Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes or until tests done.

Cool, frost, and cut into squares.
