Portillo's Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • For Cake
  • 1 box devils food cake mix
  • 3 eggs (large)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Hellmans Mayonnaise
  • FOR FROSTING
  • 12 tablespoons butter
  • 5 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 2 round cake pans.

Beat all ingredients for 4 minutes. Pour into prepared pans.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Add all frosting ingredients together in a bowl and whip until fluffy.
