NANA'S RICE PUDDING Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • nutmeg
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in the bottom of a casserole dish. Beat eggs. Add milk and sugar and mix well. Stir in cooked rice, vanilla, flour and raisins; one ingredient a time, in that order. Pour rice mixture in casserole dish over melted butter. Top with nutmeg. Bake for 30 - 45 min until set.
