Ingredients
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 onions - chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green pepper - chopped
14 cups tomatoes
3 bay leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons canning salt
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon oregano
12 ounces tomato paste
Directions

Cook in 3 tbsp. olive oil - onion, garlic, and green pepper in large pan.
Peel and chop tomatoes, add to onion, pepper and garlic. Bring to a boil.
Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for one hour stirring often.
Add tomato paste. Simmer to desired thickness, could take 4-5 hours.
Pour into jars. Seal with canning lids.
Place jars in covered hot water bath. Bring to a boil and let sit in water until water is cool.
