Mock Whipped Cream Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
Directions
Scald milk. Dissolve sugar in it. Cool until very cold in refrigerator or freezer. Add butter, shortening, vanilla and egg. Beat for 10 minutes. Cake must be cool before frosting it.
