Dried Cranberry Cheese Ball 3 Recipe

  • 1 package cream cheese (8 ounce)
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese - shredded
  • 2 tablespoons port wine
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans - optional
Mix cream and cheddar cheeses with mixer until creamy. Add port wine and mix until blended. Stir in cranberries by hand. Refrigerate until firm enough to form into ball, and roll in pecans.

Best is made several days ahead. Serve at room temperature with Ritz Crackers.

HINT: Can also be served as a cheese spread without rolling in pecans.
