Country Vegetable Soup 3 Recipe

Ingredients
6 ounces Cured Ham (cut to bite size)
1 package frozen baby lima beans
1 package Frozen Field Peas
1/2 Cabbage (chopped) (large)
5 Irish Potatoes (peeled and diced) (medium)
1 sweet onion (large)
1 can green beans
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can Tomato Juice (Large can)
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
Place ham in 1 qt. water. Bring to boil and simmer 15 min. Add lima beans, field peas, and cabbage. Add water just to cover, if necessary. Bring to low boil and cook 15 min. Add potatoes, onion, green beans, and tomatoes. Bring to low boil and cook 15 min. Add corn and juice. Add some salt and pepper. Cook 15 min. Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat. Serve after 30 min. with saltines, chunky bread, or PB&J sandwich. Note: Times are approximate. You can do laundry, iron, or clean the floors while making this soup.
