Cheese Dreams Recipe

Spread cream cheese, about 1/4 inch thick, on 4 slices of bread all the way to the edges.

Put the remaining bread slices on top to form 4 sandwiches. Set aside.

Beat eggs until well mixed. Do not add salt, pepper or other spices.

Melt butter in a pan then reduce the heat to medium-low.

Dip and turn one sandwich at a time in eggs allowing it to soak into bread. Then place sandwich in pan and cook slowly until just lightly browned on both sides.

Serve immediately with either powdered sugar or hot syrup. We like to cut fresh strawberries and "cook" them in a pot of syrup, making a fresh strawberry syrup.
