Grits and Eggs Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Cook grits in water with salt then let cool slightly. Combine all ingredients together, mix well with grits. Place mixture into 2 qt. baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
