Ingredients
6 apples, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons butter
pinch of salt
4 tablespoons Splenda
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 clove ground (1/8 teaspoon clove)
pinch of nutmeg
1 tablespoon canola oil
3 tablespoons sugar free maple syrup
Directions
In a large sauté pan put the peeled and sliced apples, butter, oil, and salt. Cook over medium heat until the apples begin to soften about 12-14 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients. Lower heat to low and cook another 5 minutes. This is good as a side dish with pork or as a topping for ice cream.
