Texas Flank Steak Recipe

  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 1.25 ounce envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine all except steak. Place in a Ziploc plastic bag with the steak. Refrigerate for 8 hours, turning often. Remove meat and reserve marinade. Grill for 4 to 6 minutes on each side for medium rare, basting occasionally with marinade. To serve, slice meat at an angle into thin strips and place on platter.
