Lincoln Logs 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • *****
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 beaten egg
  • *****
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • Few drops of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Lawrys salt
Directions
Sift together dry ingredients. Mix oil, milk, and egg and pour all at once into the dry ingredients. Stir with a fork until the mixture cleans the sides of the bowl and rounds up into a ball. Smooth by kneading 10 times without addition of more flour. Place the dough between two sheets of wax paper, 12 in. square. Roll out until dough reaches edge of paper. Cut dough into 9 squares. Spread with filling, roll up and bake 15 minutes in preheated 450° oven. Serve with beef gravy.

Filling:

Brown ground beef and onion. Add remaining ingredients and steam 15 min. Cool slightly.
