Taco Mac Recipe

This pasta dish is perfect for busy weeknights. Its goulash with a Mexican twist and so easy to put together. Perfect with some bread and a side salad.

  • 16 ounces macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced (optional)
  • 1 green pepper, diced (optional)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can tomato sauce (large can)
  • salt and pepper, to taste

In a large pot, cook pasta according to directions; drain.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion and pepper, if desired; drain.

Add taco seasoning and water to browned meat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine meat mixture, pasta and tomato sauce in large pot. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve with shredded cheese, if desired.
