A type of dairy product that is produced from whole, low-fat, or nonfat milk that is fermented with bacterial cultures. The bacteria allows the milk to congeal, giving it a thick, creamy texture. It is frozen and served just like ice cream. Frozen Yogurt is often blended with natural fruit flavors or pieces of fruit. Other popular flavors include vanilla and chocolate and nuts are occasionally added as well. Frozen yogurt is high in protein and calcium along with many B vitamins.
