Hearty Vegetable Beef Soup

"This is a great recipe. Very simple to make. I have made it in the oven before, but tonight I am cooking it slowly on the stove top. Just a comment about the review posted by chefof thefuture; the recipe does call for potatoes, in fact 2 large potatoes chopped. Thanks!"
