Luscious Squares Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • Topping
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon flour
Directions
Sift 1 C. flour, add butter and sugar and cream together mixture. Spread thin on 9" greased pan. Bake 10 minutes at 325°. Beat eggs thoroughly, add 2 T. flour, brown sugar and pecans. Mix well, spread thin on first mixture and cook 20 minutes. Cool in pan. Add topping. When cool, cut in squares.
