Felafel (Vegetarian) Recipe

  • 4 cups cooked Chick Peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup minced parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne (or Black Pepper)
  • 1+1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons Flour (plus more for dusting)
  • Oil for frying
Mash all ingredients well together (DO NOT use a blender or food processor).

Form into small patties, dust with flour and fry in oil until dark golden on each side.

Serve with Tahini-Lemon Sauce
