BAKED CHOPS AND RICE Recipe

Ingredients
6 boneless pork chops
1 cup rice, uncooked
3 cups water
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 onion, chopped fine (large)
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 green pepper, thinly sliced (large)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°. Trim fat from chops; lightly brown on both sides. Mix the rice, water, salt, pepper, onion and soup in a 2 quart shallow baking dish. Add green pepper. Arrange chops in dish and cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until chops and rice are tender.
