Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
1 1/2 boxes confectioners sugar
1/2 pound butter
2 packages semi-sweet chocolate morsels (6 ounce pkg)
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract, divided
1 square paraffin, shaved into chocolate (1 inch square)
Directions
Combine and beat until smooth, peanut butter, butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. When mixture gets too stiff for beaters, knead remaining sugar in with hands. Refrigerate until firm. Form into small balls. Melt semi-sweet chocolate and paraffin over hot water. When melted, add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix well. Dip peanut butter balls into the chocolate, place on wax paper to harden. Makes 4 dozen bon bons.
