Best Ever Michigan Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Pie Crusts, use your favorite recipe
  • 4 cups Michigan Baking Apples
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Milk (***recipe follows)
Directions
Peel, core and slice apples.

Add them to the dry ingredients.

Mix well.

Pour into the bottom of the pie crust.

Place the top pie crust on pie.

Brush the top with sweet milk.

Bake at 400 for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

***Sweet Milk: 1/2 C. of Evaporated Milk and 2 Tbsp. Sugar, mix well
