  • 1 box yellow cake mix, including package ingredients (18 ounce box)
  • 1 box coconut cream instant pudding (small box)
  • GLAZE:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.

Mix cake mix according to package directions, including pudding in withe mix.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

While cake bakes, mix up glaze by stirring together the powdered sugar, milk and extract.

While cake is warm, punch holes in cake about 2 inches apart. Pour glaze over cake. Sprinkle with coconut.

Cool.

"Brought this to church for the Fish fry. I stole a piece to make sure it was OK to share. It was a moist cake. I'd probably like a frosting instead of the glaze though."
