Creamy Oreo Cookie Salad Recipe

A creamy cookie salad that is yummy enough to be considered a dessert. This will be the first thing to disappear when kids are at the dinner table.

Ingredients
  • Extra Oreos for garnish, optional
  • 2 boxes vanilla pudding, small boxes
  • 3 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip
  • 1 package Oreos, coarsely crushed
Directions
PREP
30 mins
  • Beat the pudding and milk in a bowl for approximately two minutes or until it thickens.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar together.
  • Beat the cream cheese mixture into the pudding; then fold in the whip cream.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreos.
  • Garnish with extra cookies.
  • Cool in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours.

"Delicious! I have tried several Oreo salad recipes but never one that called for cream cheese so I wanted to try it. It was very good but not a lot different than the other recipes I have tried. We like them all. Next time I would add a few more Oreos to this recipe."
