Creamy Frosting 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 3/4 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
In a small saucepan mix flour and milk. Stir and cook over medium heat until thick like paste. Remove from heat, Stir briskly. Let cool to lukewarm.

Cream together: shortening, butter, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat on medium high speed until creamy. Add lukewarm mixture and beat on high till fluffy. Frosts a 9"x13" cake.
