Apple Blossom Cobbler Recipe

  • 1 can Pillsbury biscuits
  • 1 can prepared apple fruit filling or 3 apples sliced (1 lb 5 ounce can)
  • 1 package cranberry flavored gelatin or any flavor you like (3 ounce pkg)
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup Pillsbury all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Place in bottom of greased 8x12 inch or a 9 inch square pan, pressing to cover bottom of pan. Spread apple filling or sliced apples over dough. Sprinkle with dry gelatin. Sprinkle topping over gelatin. Bake 375° for 20 to 25 min. Biscuits will be light golden in color. If desired, serve with cream or ice cream.

Topping: In mixing bowl combine flour, sugar and salt. With pastry blender, cut in butter until course and crumbly.
