Dutch Letter Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 8 ounces almond paste
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar

  • Preheat oven to 325ºF. Grease a 9- x 13-inch pan.
  • Cream the butter, margarine, and almond paste.
  • Add the eggs to creamed mixture and mix well with a hand mixer.
  • Stir in the flour and sugar.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle the top with sugar.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes.
